Drexel's Response to Coronavirus

Drexel is committed to preserving and maintaining the health and safety of all members of its community. The University continues to monitor closely the coronavirus outbreak and is following guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health and Philadelphia Department of Public Health.

Key Facts

  • In accordance with statewide preventative measures, campus facilities are closed to the public. Professional staff are working remotely, non-critical on-campus research activities and clinical experiences have been suspended.
  • All domestic and international University travel is prohibited.
  • Courses will be taught remotely through the end of the spring term using web, video and teleconferencing tools already widely adopted by faculty. 
  • Commencement has been postponed.
